Anacamptis laxiflora (Lam.) R.M.Bateman, Pridgeon & M.W.Chase, 1997 - Lockerblütiges Knabenkraut, rahlocvjetni kaćun
Eine in Mitteleuropa fast ausgestorbene Orchidee ist in Kroatien noch häufiger zu finden: Das Lockerblütige Knabenkraut, rahlocvjetni kaćun. Ihr Habitat sind meernahe Feuchtwiesen, wo sie ab April ihre Blüten öffnet.

An orchid which is almost extincted in Central Europe you can find in Croatia, especially in Privlaka: the loose-flowered orchid lives in wet meadows which are close too the sea. From April she opens her pink blossoms.

Namensherkunft
Griechisch anakamptein = zurückgebogen. Dies bezieht sich auf die Unterlippe, die stark nach hinten gerichtet ist.

Morphologie und Größe
Habitus
- Höhe: bis 60 cm
- Auf einem langen, schlanken Stängel sind die Blüten locker angeordnet.
- Im unteren Drittel liegen Laubblätter dicht an.
Die Blüte
- Die Blüten und der Stängel sind purpurrot bis pink gefärbt. Rachen und Unterlippe innen sind weiß. Die Hochblätter sind ebenfalls purpurn.
- Der Sporn ist fast senkrecht nach oben gerichtet und ist am Ende mittig eingedrückt
- Staubgefäße kürzer als die Kronblätter
- Blütezeit : April - Mai
- Blütenfarbe: kräftig pink

Das Blatt und Stängel
- Der Stängel ist vierkantig, glatt und schlank. Er ist im oberen Bereich ebenfalls purpurn gefärbt.
- Die Blätter sind basal als Rosette angelegt und sind parallelnervig.
- Sie laufen gegen Ende spitz zu.
Ökologie
- Diese Orchidee ist ein typischer Bewohner sumpfiger Wiesen und dort vergesellschaftet mit dem Gemeinen Mädesüß.
- Als Bestäuber konnte ich ausschließlich Hummeln aus der Ordnung Hymenoptera Linné, 1758 - Hautflügler, opnokrilci sehen.
Lebensraum
- Bezüglich ihres Lebensraums ist diese Orchidee sehr anspruchsvoll: sie liebt staunasse Böden, sumpfige Wiesen und kalkarmes Terrain.
