Die europäischen Kiefernwälder, und da ist es egal um welche Art es sich handelt, sind Habitate für eine ganz eigene Fauna und Flora. Einige Tiere wie Chrysoperla mediterranea Hölzel, 1972 – die Mittelmeer-Florfliege oder den großen Prachtkäfer Chalcophora intermedia Rey, 1890 habe ich euch bereits vorgestellt. Und auch dieser Marienkäfer ist hier zu finden und jagt, ähnlich wie die Larven der Florfliege, Läuse.
